Privacy Policy

The short version: ExpenseKit recognizes and stores receipt information on your iPhone. It does not upload receipts to ToolBistro.

Camera and selected photos

ExpenseKit uses the document camera or an image you explicitly select. Edge correction and text recognition run on-device. The app does not continuously access your photo library.

Local receipt records

Receipt images, merchant names, totals, dates, tax fields, categories, confidence flags, corrections, and merchant rules are stored in local app storage.

Exports and sharing

CSV and PDF expense packs are generated locally. They leave ExpenseKit only when you choose to save or share them.

Purchases

Apple processes subscriptions and one-time purchases. ExpenseKit reads StoreKit entitlement status; ToolBistro does not receive payment-card details.

Tracking and data sale

ExpenseKit has no account, advertising SDK, analytics service, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated data server. ToolBistro does not sell personal data.

Financial disclaimer

ExpenseKit organizes receipts. It does not provide tax, legal, or accounting advice.

Delete your data

Delete individual records inside ExpenseKit or delete the app to remove remaining local storage. ToolBistro cannot recover deleted receipts.
