Privacy Policy

The short version: No account, developer server, cloud database, ads, analytics, tracking, or third-party SDK. Pet profiles, medication plans, dose events, caregiver names, and vet visits stay in the app container unless you explicitly share an export.

Information stored on your device

Pet names and species, medication names, strengths, dose text, routes, copied clinic directions, schedules, dose outcomes, scheduled, actual, and recorded times, caregiver names, notes, correction reasons, and vet visit records are stored in MedTally's local app container.

No developer collection

MedTally has no account, developer-operated server, cloud database, analytics, advertising, tracking, or third-party SDK. ToolBistro does not receive the pet medication or vet records stored in the app.

Local notifications

If you enable reminders for a medication plan, MedTally requests notification permission and schedules local notifications on the device. A notification never records an outcome automatically, and ToolBistro does not operate a push-notification server for MedTally.

Exports and sharing

Plain-language handoffs, CSV dose logs, and complete JSON backups are generated locally. They leave MedTally only after you explicitly choose a destination in the iOS share sheet. Review exported files before sending them to another person or service.

Purchases

The one-time lifetime purchase is processed by Apple. MedTally can read StoreKit product and entitlement status, but ToolBistro does not receive your payment card details.

Medical and veterinary boundary

MedTally records what a caregiver says happened. It cannot verify ingestion and does not diagnose, calculate doses, check interactions, interpret tests, recommend medicine, or advise what to do after a missed dose. Follow the veterinarian or pharmacy label and contact the veterinarian before medical decisions.

Tracking and data sale

MedTally contains no cross-app tracking or data broker SDK. ToolBistro does not sell pet, caregiver, medication, or vet record data.

Delete your data

Use Delete all local records in MedTally Settings to remove pets, medication plans, dose audit events, vet visits, caregiver names, and pending reminders. Deleting the app also removes its remaining local app data from the device. An Apple lifetime purchase remains restorable.
