Why is word check unavailable?

Confirm that Speech Recognition is allowed for MimicLoop in iOS Settings. Word check also requires Apple's on-device en-US recognizer on the current device. MimicLoop will not upload a take or fall back to network recognition.

Why did word check show the wrong words?

Speech recognition can mishear speech, accents, or background noise. Use the transcript as a transparent listening aid, not a pronunciation, accent, fluency, or ability grade.

Which microphone did MimicLoop use?

The Practice screen shows the actual input route reported by iOS before recording and keeps the route visible during the take. A route change or system interruption stops the take rather than silently relabeling it.

Where are my recordings and notes?

They stay in MimicLoop's local app container. Pro can explicitly share a CSV and existing recording files through the system share sheet. MimicLoop has no account, cloud sync, or developer server.

How do I restore Pro?

Open Settings and choose Restore purchase while signed in with the Apple Account that completed the original lifetime purchase. There is no subscription or trial.

How do I delete local data?

Delete one set or take from Library or History, or open Settings and confirm Delete All Data. The Apple lifetime purchase remains restorable.
